Giovedì 16 Febbraio presso il Centro Sociale Autogestito (CPA) di Firenze Sud, in Via di Villamagna, si è tenuto un dibattito-confronto sulla questione che sta coinvolgendo nazioni di tutto il mondo: l'Alta Velocità. L'iniziativa è stata lanciata da Euskal Herriaren Lagunak Firenze (Comitato di Amicizia con il Paese Basco) e dal CPA. Presenti, per partecipare e per raccontare la situazione della propria realtà, due baschi, appartenenti al movimento AHTGELDITU!, e un Valsusino del comitato NOTAV della Val di Susa. Hanno partecipato anche diversi singoli del comitato NOTAV Firenze. L'incontro è avvenuto, anche, in vista della manifestazione nazionale del 25 Febbraio, contro l'Alta Velocità, che avrà luogo in Val Susa.

On Thursday 16th February an evening of debate and confrontation took place at CPA (Centro Popolare Autogestito), in Florence, regarding the wide spread issue of high-speed transport. The venue was put together by Euskal Herriaren Lagunak Firenze (a comitee of friendship with the Basque country) and CPA. Present at the event, both to participate and to report their situations, were two Basque, who belong to the AHTGELDITU! movement, and a member of the NOTAV comitee from Val di Susa. Various members of the NOTAV comitee from Florence also took part in the event. All was also in sight of the national march that will take place on 25th February in Val di Susa. People from all around Italy will be heading up north to attend.
